Nearing the end of her Middle School Career, Hayley jumped off a set of bleachers with a compression would that looked like she had blown up a medical glove and tied it to the end of her leg.  In September, Dale had a spot on his face and after a quick procedure we are happy to report that it is all good.  Medically speaking, Heather is a train wreck!!  Long story short, after a doctor visit in August, she found that she has degenerative disk in her neck in two separate places.  She has been seeing a chiropractor and having regular massage (or torture) each week since early October.  Unfortunately there has not been enough improvement of her symptoms and we are now scheduling an MRI and possible surgery.  Heather stopped eating gluten in October and has had a huge improvement in the inflammation and lost 17 pounds.  She would like to be able to look down without everything going blurry.  Her fingers go numb quite often and she has gone days on a few hours of sleep.  Not a great recipe for a family always on the go.  We are looking forward to some answers and hopefully a remedy soon.
